Effects of the long stay home

The children of yester years have had to grow up after a long stay at home. Whilst they were shielded when they were in school, eight months at home has shown them the bitter truth about life. Now they cannot sit still and pretend not to know what is going on outside. Children have become more proactive. Some of them had to fend for their families during the long stay at home. Thus when they go back to school, they look at it differently.

They want the best and if they can’t have it, they will demand to get it by hook or crook. Parents cannot change the children nor can the teachers do it. If a child is not persuaded to read by themselves, then the teacher will not be able to persuade them to. Force will not do it, but rather teachers and parents should reason out with their children to get to a place of compromise.
